- How do I use Claude for work?
- Start with a task you already do every week, like an email, a report or meeting notes. Tell Claude who it is for and what a good result looks like, and attach the document you are working from. Then read the draft and fix it, as you would a colleague's first draft. Farlane lessons walk you through this for your job, and each step says what to click.
- Is Claude free to use?
- Yes. Claude has a free plan on the web, on desktop and on your phone, with usage limits that reset over time. Paid plans such as Claude Pro give you more use. The core Farlane lessons work on the free plan, and lessons that need Pro say so before you start.
- Is it safe to put work information into Claude?
- Treat Claude like any outside service: follow your employer's rules, and leave out passwords, bank details and anything confidential. On personal plans you choose in Claude's privacy settings whether your chats are used to improve Claude. Farlane has a lesson on what never to paste and how to check what AI tells you.
- What can AI do for an accountant, an HR specialist or a teacher?
- Mostly the writing and sorting around the real work: drafting emails and letters, turning notes into a report, summarising documents and checking lists for mistakes. You stay responsible for the numbers and decisions, so you check every draft before you use it. Farlane has lessons for each of these jobs, built on tasks people in them do every week.
- How is Farlane different from an AI course?
- Instead of general lessons about AI, each lesson is one real task from your job that you do in your own Claude. A lesson takes about ten minutes, and you check the result with a short exercise. Your plan starts with the tasks that save you the most time.
- I'm not technical. Is this for me?
- Yes. If you can write an email, you can do these lessons. Each step says what to click and what you should see next, and there is nothing to install.
